John abruptly flew his eyes open. The first thing he saw was the ceiling of the car.

He gulped ha-rd when his mind played what happened last night. He started shaking his head.

“Please…please no…Please” He muttered and kept his palms together.

“Let it be a dream. Nothing but a dream. Please” He hoped.

Suddenly, something slammed his shoulder and he swallowed.

He blinked and slowly turned his ne-ck sideways, like a programmed robot.

When he saw Maureen sleeping on his shoulder with her lingerie on top her body, his eyes wide-ned.

“Ahhhhhhhh!!!” He screamed loudly and this chased the birds which were on the car.

Maureen quickly opened her eyes and faced John.

Her eyes wide-ned and she started wearing her lingerie and bumshot.

“fu-ck!!” He cussed, un-der his breath

Maureen finished putting on her wears and faced him.

“Look, About last night..

“Can you just leave!” He barked, not facing her which made her flinch.

She sighed de-eperly and opened the door, she closed it and the car revved to life, and zoomed off.

“He’s gonna hate me for life” She thought, sadly.

She flagged a cab and entered it. She just wanted to be alone. Soon, the cab left.

THE NEXT DAY**

Whitney and Maureen were seen heading to their lecture hall.

“Maureen? You haven’t been yourself lately? Are you alright?” Whitney asked out of concern.

“I’m fine” Maureen muttered.

“And you’re lying. Even your voice says that” Whitney sighed as they both entered the hall and sat on the chair.

“I guess I’m not fine” She sighed, trying ha-rd not to cry.

Whitney moved closer to her and held her close to her che-st.

“What’s it? Tell me”

Maureen sniffed.

“Clark…He loves Natalie”

“Oh my…I’m sorry about that. I even thought he would choose you, thats why I kept giving you hope. Is that why you’re sad, huh?” She dotted her.

“No” Maureen shook her head and a tear escaped from her eye.

“Then,,, why are you sad?” Whitney whispered.

“John…” Her voice cracked.

“John??”

She nodded.

“What happed to him?”

“I don’t know why. But I’m hurt cause he doesn’t wanna talk to me. He has been ignoring me lately and it pains me to the core. Why am I even like this? I don’t know? Or is it cause we had se-x?”

Whitney eyes wide-ned.

“You? John? Had…had se-x??” She stuttered.

Maureen nodded.

“But…but why?”

“Its a long story”

“Then, summarize”

“Remember the seduction?”

“Hmm Hmm”

“It went wrong. It was a big disaster! Failure! and I even ended up losing Clark to Natalie. As if that wasn’t enough. I took the libido booster thinking it was my glucose” She sighed.

“John was right there and I for-ced him to have se-x with me. Not that I for-ced, for-ced him though. I made him hórny too as we had se-x” Maureen explained.

“Damn” Whitney whispered.

“And now, John seems to hate me and I don’t why, It hurts…I just don’t know why… do you??”

“Huh?” Whitney faced her.

“Do you know why I’m this way?” Maureen was crying already.

Maureen eyes grew big.
“Sorry? Come again??”

“John. You have feelings for him. Feelings you can’t comprehend”

“But why??”

“How would I know why? I’m not your heart, girl. You should talk to him or just forget about him. Love or Leave. You gotta chose what he chooses cause you might get hurt if you choose the opposite of what he chooses”

“Wow. I always thought I was a love expert but I was so wrong. You are” Maureen sniffed.

Whitney laughed.

“Are you kidding me now?”

“Nope…” Maureen shook her head and Whitney smiled.

“You’ll be fine… In time” Whitney said.

“What about Jayden by the way?, Isn’t he coming?” Maureen asked, looking around.

She suddenly sighted Natalie and Clark at the other side, talking and laughing. She gave a loud sigh.

Whitney looked and sighed too. She cu-pped Maurren’s face on her tender hands and turned it around to her face.

“Jayden said he will be quite late today. He’s probably in his room playing games” Whitney finally gave a replum

“Okay?” Maureen said.

“Even Desmond…and John isn’t here” She muttered.

“I wonder” Whitney said.

John suddenly entered the hall and walked past them. He stopped and moved back.

“Maureen?” He called with a light growl.

She quickly faced him. His brows were arched and his eyes, quite angry.

“What?” She asked.

“Let’s talk after cla-ss… In the library” He said, and left to the back seat.

Maureen inhaled de-eperly.

“Whars wrong with him?” Whitney whispered and Maureen shrugged her shoulders.

Desmond was about entering the cla-ss when someone suddenly pulled his arm to a corner.

“What the h*ll-

“Ssshhh!” The person hushed and covered his mouth.

“Huh?? Jade??” He mumbled.

She sighed de-eperly and dropped her hand down.

“Hey cousin” She sm-irked.

“What’s it?” He asked.

“You can be on my side, Desmond” She whispered.

“Huh? Are you drunk??, You just pulled me here to spew trash? I don’t even un-derstand you”

She only scoffed.

“You want Whitney. I want Jayden. if you act right, you could have her. You just have to join me…” She whispered.

“Join you? To have Whitney?”

“Hmm Hmm” She nodded with a fiendish smile.
