Whitney kicked the door and it opened, revealing a bleeding Jade. Her ne-ck and face was scratched.

She was sitting on the floor like some rejected stone.

Jade shifted back, fearfully when she saw Whitney fiercely walking towards her.

“You! How dare you!!” Whitney screamed, pulled her up by her collar and landed a heavy slap against her face.

Jade staggered helplessly.

“Whitney…” Jayden said immediately he entered.

“Fu-ck you!” Whiyney screamed, tearfully and slapped her again and again.

“Whitney…” Jayden sighed.

Whitney slapped her more and more without stopping. Blood was already oozing from her mouth and nostrils.

And Jade just collected it without raising her arm back at her. Maybe cause she felt guilty??

“Whitney,, Enough please” Jayden said, and held her tightly from behind. His arms were around her wa-ist.

Whitney jumped madly.
“Let me go!! Let me go!! Let me be!!” She was crying so much.

Her face was red. Her nose was runny. Her voice was shaky. Her blood was boiling. Her teeth, gritting.

“Let me Fu-cking teach that b!tch a lesson!!” She shouted, kicking her legs on the air.

Maureen and John came in immediately. They were cops with them.

“That’s her. The she devil” Maureen pointed.

Jade was handcuffed by the cops and was being led away. When she was pa-ssing a jumping, wriggling and crying Whitney, she smir-ked at her despite her bleeding face.

“What?? How dare her? She smir-ked at me. You had to see her evil smirk. Why?, That horrible human never learns her lesson. She’s never remorseful” Whitney said inwardly.

“Jayden, please…just let me go” She said, pleadingly and softly.

“Promise you wont do anything rash”

“I promise…”

He dropped her down and let her go. Whitney went to the cops and stopped them. She faced Jade.

“I see, you never ever change and you still don’t want to” Whitney muttered.

Jade smir-ked again and slowly took her li-ps to Whitney’s ear.

“How would you feel if you knew who Jayden is to me?, Would you stop loving him or remain as a fool?” She whispered.

“What?” Whitney muttered.

“Bye, old friend” She winked and finally left.

Maureen sighed in relief and walked to Whitney.
“Are you alright?” She asked.

However, Whitney didn’t reply. Her mind was far.

“Hey…Whitney?? Whitney!! Are you listening??”

“Huh? Huh?”

“Goodness, Whitney,,, where was your mind?, Anyways, The cops said they are at the peak of getting those hoodlums. Don’t worry, Justice shall prevail for Nat and she will be fine”

“You don’t und-erstand” Whitney was crying again.

“Hey, hey,,, don’t cry. C’mon, talk to me. What’s it?” Maureen asked.

“I was supposed to be the target but Natalie fell into the trap for me. Because of me, she got…she got…kidnapped and tortured”

Maureen sighed de-eply and hug-ged her.

“Do you wanna know the worst thing??”

“What?” She muttered.

“I never looked for her. I wasn’t even worried. I didn’t even care. I couldn’t even think about her. Instead, I was having se-x. Having se-x like a fool. I feel like a stupid sh!tty friend. I hope Natalie will forgive me when she wakes up” Whitney muttered.

Maureen sighed de-eply, rubb-ing her back.

“You, Natalie, I…we will all do great and we will be fine, okay?”

Whitney sniffed and nodded.

“Hey guys” Jayden muttered, coming out of the room with John. The girls disengaged and looked at the boys.

“Update, Clark just sent a message. Natalie woke up…just now”

“Natalie!! Thank God you’re alright. I’m glad. Finally!, I thought I won’t see you. I missed you and I’m sorry this happened to you” He inhaled, de-eply hugging her.

Natalie head was bandaged and a lotion was applied all over her skin cause of the ant bites.

The cuts from the horse whips were also treated and plastered.

“Wait,,, wait,,,” She muttered, pulling away from the hug.

“What’s it, baby?” He asked.

“Me? Your baby? I don’t und-erstand” She whispered.

“Huh?”

“Who are you?” She asked, sharply.

“Gold fish” He tried holding her.

“That’s so cringe!. Good fish??, The h*ll. Who are you really?? What do you want from me?? Are you some pervert??, Please just call my mum…and my dad. I don’t wanna stay here” She mumbled.

“Don’t you remember me?, Its me,,, Clark…Me,,,” He bit his bott-om li-p when he saw the confused and scared look on her face.

He sighed and nodded.

“Okay then. I’m gonna go call your parents. I seem to be making you uncomfortable. I’ll see myself out” He for-ced a dry smile and turned away.

He was about to open the door when he heard her voice;

“Why would I ever forget you?” She muttered.

Clark eyes blinked. They turned teary too. He slowly turned to face her.

Her eyes were damn teary.

“What was it again?” She muttered.

“Oh…Roar” She said, chuckling and the tears fell.

Clark felt alive again!

“I missed you” He cried, rushed to her and hug-ged her.

“I thought I would lose you” She muttered, rubb-ing his hair.

“You had me scared for while. goodness. You never change. So sly”

“I gotta play pranks, tiger” She boke the hug and looked at his face.

They smiled at each other faces.

“Roar” She said, breaking the silence and at once, Clark claimed her li-ps, smiling inside.

She held the sides of his shirt, reciprocating the ki-ss.

The others came but when they saw the action going in there, they shut the door and quietly walked out.
