‘Its me Mike,don’t be scared’ I heard a deep voice rang out. I switched on the light on the light to met the bulky guy sitting on a stood beside my bed with a big suitcase in between his leg. I was startled, I sat up immediately . He open the suitcase and brought out a long rifle, brandishing it

‘ hello Mike, im Richard, He paused when he notice how frightened I was,’ Mike, you don’t have to be afraid, im not hurting you

‘ Mr richard, e be like say you dey mad, you hold gun and you are asking me to be calm’ I nearly said

‘As I was saying, im not hear to hurt you but to recruit you…………….

‘WHAAT, you be army or police’ I nearly said again

‘I have been watching you since you came and I see that you are the right man we need,So tommorrow we are going somewhere, Sleep tight dear and have a good dream. He returned the gun back to the suitcase and he stood up to go before saying

‘lest, I forget, there is freedom of speech, you can woke up in the morning and try to report to any security agency but lemme warn you that if you try it, you are going to vanished from the surface of earth, goodnight.

After he left, I realised that I was soaked with sweat, hot sweat like someone walking in the rain,why wont i? when its my first time of seeing a gun at close range like except in movies and police on patrol. I was so afraid that I cant even sleep again. I was lost in thinking about what to do when my alarm rang out which signified that the time is 5:00. I kneel down to prayed, I was still afraid of that suitcase and I was still praying till it was 6:30am, I packed half of my clothes in a bag with other thing I felt I would need. Immediately, richard stepped out of the room, I left for fellowship with the bag on my back. On my way to the fellowship, I called edwin to tell him that in the afternoon, I will be coming over to his place to spend some days with him and suprisingly he said he knows.

I got to the service early so I assisted in setting th equipment to be used, arranging the chair and other works to be done.When it was time for the service,I went to the back sit and sat down there, I could’nt take active part during the time of the service cos the event of the midnight still have its effect on me.The service ended around 2:30, the president of the fellowship asked me to wait behind. ‘No problem’ I said.

‘…………………….since some weeks ago that you have joined us you have been taking active part in all the fellowship activity,So In view of these, the brothers and brethen have agreed that you should be our assistant treasurer of this fellowship.The president said

‘alright no problem, I appreciate the honour and I say a big thank you to you all.A little refreshment followed and I left for edwin’s place.

Edwin’s place was a bit far from my hostel,I knocked at their door three times but the loud music coming out of the room did not let them hear the knock or so I thought,So I open the door and sauntered in,they all shifted their attention to me

‘you are welcome to my villa Mike’ Edwin said

‘thank you edwin’ I said and settled down, i was also given a bed.

‘lemme introduce my hommies to you’, edwin said ‘this is Ejiro’ He said pointing at a short guy sitting on a chair, I greeted the guy and we shake.He also introduce a lanky guy he called Charles and a fair guy called Arthur.After the introduction, Edwin suggested that we should go and eat in the cafeteria

‘Edwin am so tired,i cant go with you,you can bring my own for me in a take-away’I said

‘Alright,No prob’ Edwin said and they left.
I was not tired and will never be tired ;D ,the truth was that i was afraid of running into richard but i know i cant hide from him forever.I la!d down on the bed i was given and they came back around 11:00,i was already asleep.
They woke me up and i eat.immediately i finished eating,i slept
